Union Budget 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with economists and experts and took their suggestions ahead of the presentation of his government’s last full budget. In NITI Aayog, the Prime Minister interacted with renowned economists of the country. The Prime Minister lauded the success of India’s digital story and the rapid adoption of fintech across the country. The Prime Minister has also called for continuing efforts to enable and promote women’s participation in the workforce while underlining women power as a key driver of India’s development. In the ongoing International Year of Millets, the Prime Minister also stressed on the need to promote millets.

The economists present in the meeting gave suggestions on their behalf to maintain the pace of India’s development. These economists gave their suggestions on subjects ranging from agriculture to manufacturing. Economists said that India has emerged as the shining star of the world due to its resilience and resilience in times of crisis.
