In its tweet the Income Tax Department has said that “According to the Income Tax Act 1961, all PAN card holders who do not fall under the category of exemption should link their PAN with Aadhaar by 31-03-2023. PANs not linked to Aadhaar will become inactive from April 1, 2023.
