The reason for the rise in the market was the buying of banking stocks. Bank Nifty closed with a gain of 2.31 per cent. Nifty IT, Nifty Auto, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Metals have also closed with a boom. In today’s trading session, midcap and small cap stocks have also seen good growth. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, only 11 closed down while 39 closed up while 25 out of 30 Sensex closed up and 5 closed down.

Due to the boom in the stock market, investors have been helped to make up for the huge loss that they had incurred last week. Investors have gained Rs 5.87 lakh crore in the wealth of investors in this boom in the market. Investors’ wealth has increased to Rs 277.99 lakh crore, which was earlier Rs 272.12 lakh crore.

BSE Sensex closed at 60,555 with a jump of 704 points and NSE Nifty closed at 18006 with a jump of 200 points.
